Hi, it's Jacqui in Portland, Maine.
As we close out another year, I'm determined to continue my dad's tradition of the family blog. Now, I am more of a photography person than a writer so that is the foreseeable theme, and I hope you still enjoy it. Despite a series of challenging changes, I'm proud of my family for pushing through, continuing to smile, and making my Dad proud. So please enjoy the 2023 in review, in no particular order, photo style.
The summary is: Cam moved from Boston to New York and is working for Bloomberg as a Breaking News Editor. I graduated from college and moved to Portland, ME where I'm working as a Program and Policy Manager for a small nonprofit called E2Tech. Graeme matriculated to Hingham High School and is working hard in his newly cast role of Damien in Mean Girls. Trish is maintaining two jobs, one at Norwell Vet Hospital, and the other taxing Graeme to and from his extracurricular activities. The animals are doing well, Fiona continues to wreak havoc and has taken up a new pastime of scaling the Christmas tree. Ed is still a sweetheart if you can spot him and Darcy can't go 1-2 days without a long walk in the woods.
Also, if you have been thinking about my dad over the past year and would like to share a story, please do. I love to read them and learn about everything my dad did in all areas of his life.
